Tonight I attened a workshop by Joe Corrigan, a wonderful man who I see as a mentor and friend, on improving your career and increasing your chances of landing a job, hosted by RMIT’s Golden Key International Honor society. Listed below are the notes that I took during the session:
- Make direct employer (report) look good, and you’ll work your way up a lot faster.
- Kaizen: A japanese word for “continuous improvement.”
- Make excellent mistakes and have a vision forward.

- Prioritize
- Get good at asking
- Get out of your comfort zone
- Get clarity/focus
- Develop a list
- Set an action goal & timetable (like a 5th class)
